FAQ
Is Cryptosales an exchange?
No. We are an aggregator and a monitor. We compare exchange services and, where one exposes an API, relay your order to it. Custody of your funds never passes through us.
Why does the same coin appear several times?
Because the network is part of the product. USDT on Tron, Ethereum and BNB Chain are three different assets with different fees, different confirmation times and different exchanger support. Sending to the wrong one is the most expensive mistake in this space, so we never collapse them.
What is a fixed rate and when should I use one?
A fixed rate locks the number for a short window — usually well under a minute — and the exchanger charges for carrying that risk. Use it for a large trade on a volatile pair. For stablecoin swaps a floating rate is normally better value.
The rate I got differs from the one shown. Why?
Three usual causes: the rate was floating and the market moved before your deposit confirmed; you sent a different amount than you quoted; or a network fee was deducted at payout. The rate table shows network fees where the partner reports them.
How long does an exchange take?
Most complete in five to thirty minutes, dominated by network confirmations rather than by the exchanger. Bitcoin is the slow leg on most routes. Our processing-time estimates come from completed orders, not from partner claims.
Can I exchange without KYC?
On many routes, yes, and the directory can be filtered to services that do not ask for documents on ordinary swaps. No exchanger can promise this unconditionally: every one of them has a compliance system that can escalate on a flagged transaction.
What happens if I send the wrong amount?
Most exchangers recalculate at the current rate and complete the order. Some hold it for manual review, especially if the amount falls outside the pair's limits. Your tracking code is how support finds the order.
What if I send on the wrong network?
Usually the funds are unrecoverable, and neither we nor the exchanger can do anything about it. Check the network on the deposit screen before sending — the ticker alone is not enough.
Do you have an API?
Yes. The public endpoints under /api serve the same quotes the site renders. Get in touch if you need higher limits or order creation.
How do I get my exchange service listed?
Through the [listing form](/add-exchanger). You need to publish rates we can read — an API or the standard XML export — and a support channel that answers.
